Volunteer Opportunities 

• Concert Help - Assist with set-up, cash box, snack bar, or cleanup at performances. 

• Chaperoning - Join us on field trips, festivals, and Disneyland trips. (This is always popular. Because so many parents are interested, we will take as many as are willing to drive separately and purchase their own ticket into the park.) 

• Event Support - Lend a hand at fundraisers, concerts, student celebrations, or other special events.

 

Fundraising & Donations 

• Music Boosters - Join or support the Carmel Valley Middle School Music Boosters, our parent-run 501(c)(3). We need a new leadership team for 2026–2027 (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer - CPA skills especially welcome!). 

• Direct Donations - Contribute through CVMSMB.org to support coaching, instrument maintenance and repair, busing, and student sponsorships. 

• Ralphs Community Rewards - Link your Ralphs Shopper’s Card to “Carmel Valley Middle School Music Boosters.” 

• Gift Cards & Items - Donate for raffle baskets, gift card drives, or event prizes.

 

Student Support 

• Practice Encouragement - Help create a supportive environment for consistent practice at home. 

• Concert Attendance - Celebrate your student’s growth by attending every performance. Transportation - Volunteer to help with carpools or moving equipment for festivals and performances.

 

Share Your Talents 

• Musical Skills - If you play or have music experience, consider coaching sectionals or mentoring.

• Professional Skills - Graphic design, photography, videography, event planning, or grant writing are all valuable ways to contribute.
