Alex Patterson

​Alex Patterson spent his first 18 years in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, not too distant from Philadelphia. After excelling in music through high school, Alex performed and toured internationally throughout the United States, Canada, the UK, and Europe as a guitarist. He moved to San Diego in 2008, studied classical guitar under the tutelage of Fred Benedetti, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from San Diego State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2017. Alex has been a music educator in San Diego since 2018. When not in the classroom, Alex enjoys the outdoors and being active - camping, hiking, BBQing, spending time at the beach, and participating in all of the outdoor activities San Diego has to offer.​
